Efteruddannelse for RAB akupunktører.
Toyohari
Japanese
Needle Therapy
2023/2024

Toyohari means “East Asian needle technique” and is a specialisation within Japanese acupuncture, developed by blind acupuncturists.
The main advantage for patients receiving this treatment is that the needles used are extremely thin and are inserted a maximum of 1 mm into the skin, making Toyohari acupuncture almost completely painless.
Postgraduate program for acupuncturists. EBTA – the European branch of the Toyohari Association – is now offering the first international Toyohari training program in Denmark. The course runs over eight weekends, twenty days, and 150 hours, from September 2023 to May 2024.
The Toyohari training is unique in that approx. 70% of the instruction is supervised training. This means that you will not only be taught the theories but also be guided to achieve the best practical skills. All theory will be directly applied to practical abilities.
In Denmark, the Toyohari training is a continuing education program for RAB acupuncturists. The training can accommodate a maximum of 21 participants and will be held in Holme, Ebeltoft in Denmark.
Each instructional day will have two main instructors and two assistants present. There will be many competent international instructors in the program, but it is worth mentioning that Stephen Birch and Junko Ida will be present for over half of the instructional days. Other instructors include Joke Bik-Nowee, Marian Fixler, Sue Pready, Anja Stiehle, Miguel Angel Cabrer Mir, Neil Scott-Kiddie, Ramin Khaknegar-Moghaddam, Sascha Gröbe, Nicolas Hüppelshäuser, and myself, Lars Schuster.
